While we can't regularly cover every show here at IGN TV, we do at least try to review the premiere episode of prominent new series that comes out - to check in with the series, make sure you guys know that it's new and it's available, and to give you our preliminary thoughts on it. But you know as well as we do that simply reviewing one episode of a brand new show -- given that most series take a few installments (or even seasons) to find themselves artistically and tonally -- doesn't exactly give anyone a full picture.
But Togetherness, debuting Sunday night, lets us do something different, thanks to HBO sending us the entire season before it airs. I had the chance to watch all eight Season 1 episodes in one fell swoop so this (relatively spoiler-free) advance review will be for the series as a whole.
