If Marvel is willing to kill off Wolverine, is any character safe these days? Apparently not, as the publisher revealed today that Deadpool is next in line for death. They announced via The Nerdist that April's Deadpool #250 will result in Wade Wilson's death.

This main story in issue #250 will see co-writers Gerry Duggan and Brian Posehn chronicle the final clash between Deadpool and the terrorist organization ULTIMATUM that has been plaguing him through the series. That story will apparently culminate in the death of the Merc With a Mouth. The issue will feature several shorter stories from comedy writers like Ben Acker and Ben Blacker, Mike Drucker, and Paul Scheer.
