Bloodborne is our IGN First for February 2015, and we're proud as heck to kick off the month with the first 18 virtually-uninterrupted minutes of the game. I could gush on and on about how great the opening is, but honestly, the footage speaks for itself. Note: the capture is from a slightly older build and the game is still under development, so definitely be aware of that if you notice a rough edge or two. We also trimmed out some of the load screens, and breezed through the Character Customization menu (don't worry, we'll be diving deep into that later on in the month).
The opening 18 minutes of Bloodborne throws you right into the deep-end with a mysterious, nightmarish cinematic. Once you gain control of your character, you'll die at the hands of a vicious beast, explore the bright and colorful hub world, and enter the treacherous town of Yharnam.
