It's tough to know what to expect from #0 issues these days. Sometimes these books serve as prologues to a larger story, and in other cases they might as well just be labeled as the #1 issue. The good news is that Convergence #0 is more of the former. It sets the stage for the main Convergence event but does so in a self-contained fashion. The bad news is that it's not the most exciting prelude. Outside of seeing Ethan Van Sciver tackle a bit of the classic DC Universe, there's not a whole lot here to justify the $5 cover price.
