Damn that was good.
As Justified attempted to break South Park's record for most uses of "s**t" in an episode (and fell woefully short), the episode itself was fun, taut, thrilling, and engaging from start to finish.
Sure, we've been treated to some very good episodes this season, but what makes this one different? Justified's always been about the slow burn. We've seen a lot of tension built up over the seasons and at its best, the show plotted out its story from beginning to end. They always ended the same way, though. Raylan came out on top and the bad guys were caught and on things went. With the end of "Collateral", we're through the looking glass. Raylan is burned. Ava's on the run. Boyd comin', y'all.
