I'm torn on the overall execution of "The Trial of Jean Grey." On one hand, the plot of this crossover has moved in fits and stops, and doesn't seem like it needed six issues to be told. The momentum of the previous two chapters stalls a bit in All-New X-Men #24. On the other hand, the pairing of the original five X-Men and the Guardians of the Galaxy is a fun one to explore. That's definitely an element this issue emphasizes. So why hurry to get to the finish line?
