This past weekend was Creation Entertainment's big Star Trek convention in Las Vegas, and it broke my heart not to be there (my Vulcan heart, that is, which is where my liver should be and beats several hundred times per minute). Still, Twitter and social media made me feel as if I was there at times, as when the fans gathered to rank the Star Trek movies.
Led by my pal Jordan Hoffman, who writes a column called One Trek Mind for Star Trek.com, the panel enlisted the help of the Trekkies (or Trekkers if you like) in the audience to determine the best and the worst of the Star Trek movies. Here's how it all broke down in the end:
