Shadowman has struggled lately. Rotating art teams packed into each issue coupled with a slow moving finale have really killed the momentum of this once awesome series. A new, exciting creative team is on the horizon, but until then we have to make do with stuff like this. Sadly, this issue of Shadowman misses the mark, big time. It tries, and fails, to be funny, but even if it succeed, the tone is all wrong for a Shadowman book. The horror isn't scary and the humor isn't funny. It's just a mess.
