In case there was any lingering doubt, Superman has returned to the DC Universe, and you can find him in Greg Pak and Aaron Kuder’s Action Comics. From the thoughtful and humorous origin pages that open up the comic to the blistering action scene that ends it all, Superman’s confident and light-hearted voice create the perfect throughline. Kuder is joined by several artists this time around, but their overall effort is a strong one so the comic never suffers. Their energetic artwork reminds me of what we’ve been seeing from Daredevil and Hawkeye, so if you’ve been loving those books -- any who hasn’t? -- then you need to give Action Comics a try.
