Marvel’s latest Ultimate relaunch has been mixed at best, with two new comics that show more potential than actual merit at this early stage. But luckily, we can always count on Ultimate Spider-Man to deliver the goods. The series may be relaunching for the third time, but this is still Brian Bendis telling a new chapter of the same saga he’s been building for 14 years. Miles Morales: The Ultimate Spider-Man #1 is proof as much as any other comic that there’s no need to fix what ain’t broke.
