The Flash: New Trailer Reveals Another Arrow Crossover IGN All

A new trailer at the end of this week's episode of The Flash, promoting the remaining episodes of Season 1, revealed the show has a new Arrow crossover very soon.

We knew Arrow characters Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards), Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh) and Quentin Lance (Paul Blackthorne) would be coming to The Flash soon, but as the trailer shows, not only is Laurel Lance (Katie Cassidy) also appearing, but so is Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) himself - and considering he can be seen standing next to Firestorm (Robbie Amell) and The Flash (Grant Gustin) at one point and it seems we have a pretty cool superhero team-up coming.

Justified: "Fugitive Number One" Review IGN All

Note: Full spoilers for the episode below.

Of all the friggin' things this show has done over its six years, this episode had its most touching scene.

I've always loved the Mikey Mike/Wynn relationship and it's been a highlight of this year, no doubt. For all of Wynn's supercilious and snide comments toward Mike and Mike's resentment for such treatment (and love for classical music and guac), they made it work. Until Hale came in with a gun.

This series hasn't had a moment more tender than Mike asking Wynn to hold him and Wynn obliging. Mike turned out to not be so stupid after all and his final defining characteristic was his commitment to Duffy. It was the best love story in the series. Their relationship ended up being something close to married, something similar to father-son. Whether or not there was something more than that will probably be debated forever by fans on message boards in the far away corners of the internet, but it was a special relationship that didn't need to be boxed in by labels. It was beautiful.

Community: "Queer Studies and Advanced Waxing" Review IGN All

Note: Full spoilers for the episode follow.

First off, sorry this review is going up late – was in the bay area for WrestleMania and then drove home, hence the lack of writing time until now!

But let’s get on with it, because the best Community of Season 6 so far -- not to mention the longest episode of Community ever (at 31 minutes, will it be surpassed by the new lack of network limitations this season?) -- "Queer Studies & Advanced Waxing” had a couple of strong dueling storylines, focusing on the Dean and Chang.

After years of comic mileage, it was somewhat risky to actually delve into the Dean’s sexuality in a such a direct manner, but it worked. The fact that the school board wanted him to be gay for PR purposes was a good way to set it all up, even as the Dean tried to explain “gay” wasn’t exactly the terminology he’d use – but as Jeff noted, “Anything other than straight is plenty for a school board.”

iZombie: "The Exterminator" Review IGN All

Note: Full spoilers for the episode follow.

Being a zombie isn't just about spreading brains onto wheat crackers and waiting for the visions to start. Tonight's episode revealed a friend of Liv's survived the boat party incident, but she's gone zombie in a bad way. Like, the worst way possible. Introducing the idea of the typical zombie into the world this early on is smart. We've seen three different shades of the monster between Blaine, Liv, and Marcy and all of the information is greatly informing Liv's character and our emotions. At the beginning of the season, a zombie existence didn't look so awful but now...

The contrast was particularly effective because in the not too distant past we saw Liv feeling optimistic about a permanent cure. Now she not only has to wrestle with the fact that it's possible to become a worse version of herself but that maybe she can cross a point of no return. All of these facets combine to create an enticing mix that enriches the series and makes watching Liv's development more fascinating.

A very strong episode, “One Door Closes” surprisingly seemed to upend the dynamic of this show again, while also including some cool flashbacks that filled in the origins of The Other SHIELD.

Man, the producers sure took those “the pacing is too slow” criticisms from Season 1 to heart, no? I assumed we’d get at least a few more episodes of Bobbi and Mack plotting with Gonzalez before any kind of major confrontation occurred – but nope, everything went down here! Coulson figured out Mack was up to something, Bobbi got Fury’s toolbox and than Gonzalez and his SHIELD agents all showed up and took the entire place over!

Check Out All Of Hearthstone's New Cards IGN All

Hearthstone's new adventure - Blackrock Mountain - begins later this week (April 2 in North America and April 3 in Australia, New Zealand and Europe), and yesterday Blizzard revealed the final 14 cards. We have now seen all 31 new cards and they break down to 18 class cards, 5 legendaries and 8 new neutral minions.

There are some really interesting new mechanics and ideas coming into play in this set, such as cards that have bonus effects when you have a dragon card in hand, cards and spells that cost less depending on how many minions have died on the turn they're played, and cards that have completely unique abilities. Just take a look at the new legendaries below (click for a larger image). Getting another copy of any card I draw? Reducing the cost of the cards in my hand at the end of my turn? Becoming Ragnaros? Adding random spells from my opponent's class?

The Witcher 3 is 200+ Hours Long IGN All

CD Projekt RED's next Witcher game is going to be a time sink.

Senior Game Designer Damien Monnier revealed on Twitter that the Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will take players over 200 hours to finish if they "do everything".

The confirmation is unsurprising. Back in January, CD Projekt RED told us that it wanted to make an "open-world where there there were no boundaries. Where our artists could do whatever they wanted." It's also in step with the rumour that The Witcher 3 has a 500 GB install on PS4.

Xbox One's Standby Mode Could Be Raising Your Energy Bills IGN All

The Standby Mode on Microsoft's Xbox One Console may be costing Americans a lot of money.

"Even when it looks like your Xbox One is off, it's still drawing significant amounts of power continuously waiting for you to say 'Xbox on' around-the-clock--including when you're sound asleep or your video game-loving child is at school," writes Noah Horowitz of the National Resources Defense Council (NRDC).

According to a study performed by the NRDC, the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Wii U combined produce enough energy annually to sufficiently power all of the homes in Houston for a year. Sony has since implemented fixes on the PlayStation 4 to help with energy consumption, but Horowitz claims Microsoft hasn't addressed the main culprit behind the Xbox One's power-draining nature.

Stephen Amell is reportedly trading in his quiver for a golf bag full of sports weapons.

According to Variety, the Arrow star has been cast as Casey Jones in the upcoming Michael Bay-produced Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2.

Megan Fox and Will Arnett will reprise their roles as April O'Neil and Vernon Fenwick, respectively. Earth to Echo's David Green will direct Ninja Turtles 2.

Luke Cage Series Gets a Showrunner IGN All

Netflix and Marvel have tapped Almost Human and Ray Donavan co-executive producer Cheo Hodari Coker as the showrunner for the upcoming Luke Cage series.

Coker will also write the first two episodes and serve as an executive producer on Luke Cage. The former journalist has previously written for Ray Donavan, Almost Human, NCIS: Los Angeles, Southland and the 2009 film Notorious.

Mike Coulter (Halo: Nightfall) will star in Luke Cage as the titular hero, and he will make his debut in the Jessica Jones series on Netflix. Luke Cage is set to premiere next year.

Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje is making the leap from Marvel Studios to DC movies.

According to TheWrap, Akinnuoye-Agbaje -- who played Kurse in Thor: The Dark World -- has been cast as Killer Croc in Suicide Squad.

If you didn't know, Croc is a reptilian-looking felon named Waylon Jones who has tangled with Batman many times in the comics.

No word on how large a role in Killer Croc will actually play in Suicide Squad. The movie reunites Akinnuoye-Agbaje with Will Smith, whom he recently co-starred with on the pro football drama Concussion.

Tortoise Shell 3D Printed for Injured Tortoise IGN All

A leopard tortoise named Cleopatra is wearing a prosthetic shell thanks to 3D printing technology. Cleopatra's shell suffers from a condition known as either "pyramiding" or "peaking," which means that her shell is more Tokka than Michelangelo.

Rather than the smooth shell on turtles not afflicted, her shell has raised sections which can wear easily and are susceptible to infection. According to the Huffington Post, Nico Novelli, owner of Canyon Critters Reptile Rescue in Golden, CO, had the shell built because he knew "something had to be done."

The shell was designed by Colorado Technical University student and US Air Force veteran Roger Henry. The prosthetic took hundreds of hours of design, Henry said, but should help Cleopatra to heal.

Bates Motel: "Unbreak-Able" Review IGN All

Warning: Full spoilers for the episode follow...

A bit of a muddled chapter this week with "Unbreak-Able" - an episode that ended on a dramatic beat featuring Norman scurrying off to tattle on Dylan for hiding Caleb's return from Norma. After Caleb had finally started to bond with Dylan via tearfully telling his side of the story with regards to his previous relationship with Norma.

Caleb claims it wasn't rape, though he did admit that Norma was the first, between the two of them, to realize their coupling was wrong and called it off. And that he was unable to let her go fully. Which sort of insinuates that the truth remains somewhere in the middle. It may have started out consensual, but when she wanted to stop it, at some point, he forced himself on her. Either way, Norman berating Dylan and threatening him wasn't the best way to end the episode. Because what was at stake here? Norma not liking Dylan again? That doesn't feel like a big deal.

Nintendo Takes Down Super Mario 64 HD Fan Project IGN All

Nintendo's legal department is taking down a free fan project based on the first level of Super Mario 64.

According to Eurogamer, the game's creator, Erik Ross, said he used assets taken from official Mario games. He said, "All the art and animations were done by myself, with the exception of the Mario, Goomba, and Power Star meshes, which are ripped (without animations) from Super Mario Galaxy."

The takedown notice cites a copyright breach for "Nintendo's Super Mario 64 video game (U.S. Copyright Reg. No. PA0000788138), including but not limited to the audiovisual work, computer program, music, and fictional character depictions."

If you load up Google Maps right now and click the button in the bottom left corner, you can play a game of Pac-Man around your local streets.

As long as you have enough roads for it to make a decent game out of, it will work.

Might and Magic Heroes VII: Better Safe than Sorry IGN All

“It’s not innovation. We have no breakthrough features,” says Erwan Le Breton, Creative Director for Might & Magic Heroes VII. This might be an ominous introduction for many series, but it’s oddly reassuring for Heroes, entering its 20th year. The franchise has become something like The Simpsons of the turn-based fantasy strategy world: absolutely essential in the 1990s, wildly inconsistent in the 2000s, and reliably decent, if uninspiring in the 2010s. So hearing that the developers were taking advantage of having six installments of the franchise from which to take the best ideas was probably the best possible introduction to the newest game.

Le Breton describes the series as a “mix between chess and Pokemon,” but that may sell Heroes’ appeal short. At the strategic layer, you move your heroes with their armies around to capture mines, find items, capture enemy castles, and improve your own. Then there are turn-based battles, where you move those dragons and ogres, casting spells from the back with the hero.

Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn director Naoki Yoshida has thanked players for their support as the last pre-expansion patch for the MMO is released.

Patch 2.55: The Gates of Judgement launches today and marks the end of the game's main scenario, before a new one starts up with expansion Heavensward's launch. The end of this chapter will see the dragon Vishap attack Ishgard while you and the Scions of the Seventh Dawn defend it. Devolver Digital Reveals Steam-only Film IGN All

Devolver Digital Films has a movie coming out on Tuesday, March 31, on Steam.

The video game-inspired comedy/sci-fi, titled Motivational Growth, features Jeffrey Combs as the voice of The Mold, which we’re told is a talking fungus that lives in the bathroom of Ian DeFalivor (played by Adrian DiGiovanni).

According to the presser, Ian is a depressed recluse whose television has just died following a botched suicide attempt. Ian then starts taking advice from a “smooth-talking” chunk of aspergillus, and wheyhey, you’ve got a movie.

"This moment is largely why Devolver started picking up great indie films off the festival circuit two years ago,” reckons Devolver Digital co-founder and partner Mike Wilson. “We believe the global community of discovery and curation that exists on Steam and had allowed indie game development to flourish could become the best thing to ever happen to digital film distribution as well."

Check Out Evolve's New Monster and Hunters in Action IGN All

Turtle Rock has released a trailer showing off the new content coming to its multiplayer shooter Evolve today.

The video, which you can see above, shows off the massive Behemoth monster you'll be able to take charge of, along with the four new hunters designed to take him down.

When we recently went hands-on with the Behemoth, we found him to be pretty insane, though the new hunters have some pretty unique skills to take him to task too.
